The Progressive Business Forum (PBF) has noted faceless false narratives circulated on social media, particularly regarding the alleged dealings with persons facing charges of serious criminal activities.
For the record, the PBF, its chairperson Dr Gwen Ramokgopa, staff and other associates confirm that they do not have any links with such persons. These claims are misleading, false and baseless.
In response, the PBF has resolved to refer the matter to Tayfin Forensic Auditors and its lawyers to investigate and protect its reputation. The PBF remains committed to transparency, accountability and the rule of law and would not hesitate to ensure accountability and consequence management to anyone within the organization nor associates.
We urge members of the public to refrain from circulating unverified information from malicious persons or unverified accounts. Any member of the public with evidence of wrongdoing is encouraged to share such information with the organization or approach relevant authorities
