The Audit Outcomes of the Provincial Government are a reflection of a maturing overarching system of good governance and effective management. We have been moving from one chief diractorate to the other in terms of improvements hence the massive improvement on the following aspects.
Examinations management.
Human resources management.
Financial services management.
Contract management and consolidation of business plans.
Curriculum management outcomes and target settings.
We owe this resounding success to those that came before us who provided the foundations we are building on today. The current leadership led by the Premier Oscar Mabuyane is a leadership of a details hence the oversight function isn't a difficult task to make. We are going to further look at the specific findings AG has on our unqualified report prescicely because we must interprete AG outcomes as a sector of education as leaving to the expectations of the constitution of the country. The lessons we have are that performance management goes hand in gloves with compliance management they are just inseparable.. That after 30 years of experience in government we are getting an unqualified audit outcome means a lot of work to us because it talks to the reputational damage the province has to fix and regain the lost ground. We are equally greatfully to the interventions done by the Premier, Mec for Finance Legislature and all ogarns of state and the civil society on the oversight function with sound collaboration strategy and tectics for us to be where we are now the current crop of Management of the sector led by the Hod, you have not disappointed the people of the Home of the Legands keep up going the road ahead isn't that much easy but equally not far fetched.
We must from now threat every operational aspect of governance as a strategic matter that requires strategic thinking and strategic leadership to empower our ecosystem.
